Having an immense admiration for the weaving skills of the ancient South American weavers, I chose images to depict aspects of their culture. The warrior with his headdress depicting the sun, the alpaca from which wool is harvested for weaving, triangles representing their temples, and the lizards and snakes from the deserts are some of the images of their culture. |
