Everywhere humans are cutting down trees, filling in wetlands, and clearing out brush to make room for big new houses and shopping malls. By doing this, we are destroying the habitat of the other creatures with whom we share this planet. We are also altering the delicate balance of nature in ways we are just beginning to comprehend. It is up to us to act wisely to try to preserve our beautiful earth both for us, and for all species. |
